Job summary

Opecon Hr Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Instrument Specialist with experience in analytical instruments to calibrate, test samples and prepare COA reports. The role requires shift availability and strong documentation practice.

Candidate should hold MSc (Regular) and have at least two years of stability at the current employer, with basic computer skills and readiness to work in a chemical industry environment.

Qualifications

• MSc (Regular) is required.
• Minimum 2 years stability at current employer.
• Experience in chemical / petrochemical / agro-chemical / speciality chemical industries.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Calibration of instruments as per defined plan.
• Sampling and testing of RM, PM & FP and Wet Analysis.
• Prepare COA reports at dispatch.
• Maintain documentation per QMS/EMS/OSHA systems.
• Take trials of suggested modifications in test methods.
• Train lab casual workers.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Should have work experience of instruments like HPLC ,GC, U.V. Spectrophotometer, FTIR, Pot. Titrator, Viscometer etc. Candidate should be ready to work in shifts.

• Calibration of Instruments as per defined plan.
• Sampling and testing of RM , PM & FP and Wet Analysis.
• Prepare COA report of Finish product at the time of Dispatch
• To ensure all documentation are maintained as per QMS/EMS/OSHA systems.
• To take trials of suggest modification required in test methods.
• Give training to Lab. casual worker.

Soft Skills required : Knowledge of Computers (basic packages like word, excel)

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have experience in chemical / petro-chemical / agro-chemical / speciality chemical Industry.
• Candidate must have done MSc (Regular)
• Required minimum 2 years stability at present company
• should not have any addiction - Cigarette , Tobacco etc.
