Job summary

A technology company in Karnataka, India is seeking a skilled Observability Monitoring Engineer for the GDC project. The role focuses on developing and enhancing Grafana dashboards to visualize data flows and implement alerting mechanisms that integrate with existing operations systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in observability tools like Prometheus and experience with cloud and infrastructure monitoring. Familiarity with Terraform and Azure services is also desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Grafana dashboards to visualize data flows and system metrics.
• Integrate and configure observability tools such as Prometheus, OTEL, Tempo, and Prometheus Alerting.
• Write and optimize PromQL queries for custom metrics and alerting.
• Implement and maintain alerting solutions that integrate with existing operations systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and develop new metrics.
• Work with Loki for log aggregation and visualization.
• Support data analysis and reporting using Databricks/Spark, SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation using Terraform and Azure services.
• Document dashboards, alerting rules, and operational procedures.
