Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end Order to Cash processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP OTC tasks.
• Experience with monitoring and improving OTC performance.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of OTC activities including Credit & Compliance, Cash Application, AR, and Cash Management.
• Manage team performance and ensure timely output per SLAs.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting transactions and ensure accuracy of records.
• Monitor OTC process performance in the centre.
• Improve processes using industry-leading practices.
• Support policy setting for OTC processes.
• Serve as key contact for internal and external groups affecting OTC.
• Assist team with troubleshooting and decision making.
• Identify changes to long-term resource needs and implement actions.
• Ensure role alignment and resource planning.
• Assist in performance appraisals and goal setting.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and related policies.

We are in search for the right resource for Specialist - Order to Cash to be associated with a Global FMCG Organization.

Job Title: Specialist - Order to Cash

Location : Chandigarh, India

Contract Period: 12 months (Off role)

Role Purpose Statement

The Order to Cash (OTC) Associate Process expert will be the owner of one of the different OTC sub process e.g. Credit & Compliance, Cash Application, AR and Cash Management, Weekly & daily Reports, Period End close tasks including planning, management and delivery of business services.

Main Accountabilities

• Responsible for the timely completion of activities as part of the Credit to Cash (OTC) function Credit & Compliance, Cash Application, AR and Cash Management, Weekly & daily Reports, Period End close tasks.
• Manage the team performance and ensure delivery of timely output as per the defined SLAs.
• Accountable for identifying, evaluating, and resolving complex accounting transactions and ensuring completeness and accuracy of the transactions.
• Monitor and measure the performance of the OTC business process in the Centre.
• Improve the business process flow on a continual basis utilizing industry leading practices.
• Help Team Leaders setting policies and procedures for the OTC process.
• Act as key contact person for all internal and external groups (Counterparties and Statutory team) which affect / are affected by the OTC process.
• Assist team in trouble shooting and decision making.
• Identify changes to long term resource needs and implements appropriate actions.
• Ensure role alignment of individuals.
• Identify, assess and select resources.
• Facilitate performance assessments and conducts feedback sessions.
• Determine and adjusts team and individual performance measures
• Support in decisions related to monetary and non-monetary compensation / rewards within established guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with Groups Sarbanes Oxley programme and Standard Policy and Procedures.
• Provide valuable feedback to staff through annual performance appraisals and goal settings programme"

Technical

• Ability to partner with other Team Managers to optimize processes across the SSC
• In depth knowledge of end to end Order to Cash process
• Strong knowledge of OTC tasks in the SAP environment.
• Experience in FSCM Vistex, Service now and Promenta will be added advantage
