Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise India Private Limited is seeking a Nonstop Support Engineer for a hybrid role requiring you to work from an HPE office on average 2 days per week. In this position you will resolve technical issues for NonStop Hardware, respond to questions, assist customers, and collaborate with the Sales Pursuit team to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced hybrid IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working knowledge on HPE hardware (ProLiant, Blade, storage, Aruba).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced problem solving and analytical ability.
• Experience troubleshooting in a technical environment.
• Proficiency with case management databases/tools.
• Strong customer service and remote support experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues for NonStop Hardware from various contacts.
• Respond to service/product/technical questions on features and repairs.
• Proactively assist customers to avoid problem recurrence.
• Act as a team/project leader guiding activities and decisions.
• Review and resolve complex business issues as needed.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base.
• Understand and utilize ITIL processes.
• Represent the company during customer visits and external meetings.

What You’ll Do

• Successfully resolve technical issues for NonStop Hardware from incoming internal or external businesses and end user's contacts and proactive notification systems
• Respond to service, product, technical, and customer- relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts and options
• Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to avoid or reduce problem occurrence
• Ability to act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision- making process
• Review and may resolve complex business issues
• Add case resolution to KMS
• Understand and utilise ITIL
• Represent the company in a face to face customer location visit, industry conference/trade show, vendor meeting, etc.
• Partner frequently with the Sales Pursuit team

What You Need to Bring

• Education and Experience Required: 5years + working knowledge on HPE Hardware (HPE ProLiant Server, HPE Blade Servers, HPE Storage Technology, Aruba Networking etc. (any exposure to NonStop Hardware is added advantage)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience troubleshooting in a technical environment
• Advanced proficiency with case management databases and tools
• Superior customer service skills
• Phone and remote support experience
• Partners frequently with the Sales Pursuit team.
Ability to solve and document solutions for usage of other technicians and customers
• Ability to lead resolution activities with escalated customers
• Ability to contribute to technical action plans
• Ability to create knowledge
