Job summary

Persistent Ltd. is seeking a NodeJS Lead Developer to join our Bengaluru engineering team. As a senior Node.js lead, you’ll optimize the performance of web-based applications, design back-end components, and collaborate with front-end developers to deliver robust solutions.

You’ll also implement security and data protection, integrate storage solutions, and guide a team of Node.js developers, writing reusable, testable code and ensuring high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience building web solutions.
• Strong command of JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL, and Node.js frameworks (Express & Hapi).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with databases (MySQL/NoSQL) in general.
• Knowledge of AngularJS/BackboneJS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Integrate data storage solutions including databases and blob stores.
• Design and build low-latency, high-availability applications.

About The Position

We are looking for a NodeJS Lead Developer to join our team. As a senior Node.js Lead at Persistent, you?ll help us optimize the performance of our web-based applications. You?ll also design back-end components, collaborate with front-end application developers, and integrate protection and data storage solutions.

What You?ll Do

• Integrate data storage solutions that could include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Manage the team of Nodejs developers and solve their queries
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code

Expertise You?ll Bring

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.
• Experience in developing web solutions
• Excellent command of JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL and NodeJS frameworks (Express & Hapi Mandatory).
• Software development lifestyle
