Applied Materials, Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking an engineer with intermediate NPME knowledge to develop and release new product BOMs, and to work with stakeholders on manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies for new products.

The role includes validation of OMS for mid-complex modules, 3D solid model analysis, and participation in design reviews to drive cost, quality, and cycle-time improvements. It also covers change control processes and RCCA activities in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of NPME role.
• Experience in creating and validating BOMs for complex modules.
• Experience with design reviews and DFA/DFT feedback.
• Familiar with change control processes and RCCA.

Responsabilités

• Independently develops, implements, and releases new product BOMs for complex modules and product structure.
• Works with key stakeholders to develop and implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Manages the development and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex modules.
• Performs 3D solid model virtual analysis process, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU).
• Participates in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and feedback to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals.
• Orchestrates change requests and executes change control processes including NSRs, ECOs, CCB, SPSs, ESWs.
• Documents product-related issues/enhancement opportunities and performs RCCA.
• Leads disposition and resolution of LTCA for project/program.
• Leads the managed build process for programs/projects.
• Provides technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Activelyparticipates in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback to newproduct development team to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals. Orchestrates change requests and executes change control processes including Non Standard Requests (NSRs), EngineeringChange Orders (ECOs), Change Control Board (CCB), Supplier Problem Sheets (SPSs), Engineering Specification Waivers(ESWs). Documents product-related issues/enhancement opportunities and performs Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA). Leadsthe disposition and resolution of issues requiring Long Term Corrective Action (LTCA) for project/program. Leads the managed build process for programs/projects. Provides technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources, including piece part suppliersrelated to new product introductions. May perform other duties as assigned. **Other Requirements:** This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting,kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may bedifficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
