Job summary

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in Bengaluru seeks a Neurodiagnostic technician to perform EEG, EMG, NCS/NCV, and evoked potentials under physician supervision.

You will place electrodes using the 10-20 system, educate patients on procedures, and maintain diagnostic hardware along with software troubleshooting. You will assist clinicians during exams and document findings with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Neurotechnology, Neurophysiology, or related Allied Health Science.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record diagnostic modalities such as EEG, EMG, and NCS/NCV.
• Administer evoked potential studies including VEP and BERAs.
• Measure and place electrodes using the 10-20 system; educate patients on procedures.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Test Administration: Perform and record accurate diagnostic modalities such as Electroencephalograms (EEG), Electromyograms (EMG), and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS/NCV).
• Advanced Testing: Administer evoked potential studies, including Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) and Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA).
• Patient Preparation: Accurately measure and place electrodes using the international 10-20 system. Prepare patients both physically and mentally, and educate them on procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain neurodiagnostic hardware, ensure routine calibration, and handle software troubleshooting.
• Coordination & Reporting: Assist the consulting neurologist or physician during examinations, prepare initial documentation, and maintain confidential patient medical records.

• Qualifications: Diploma or B.Sc. in Neurotechnology, Neurophysiology, or a related Allied Health Science.
