Job summary

NTT DATA in Pune is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to lead our network operations. You will design, implement and optimize solutions using Cisco AAA servers, Next-Gen Firewalls from Cisco and Palo Alto, Citrix Load Balancers, and Cisco ACI & SDN.

Role demands hands-on expertise in multi-pod ACI design, routing protocols, and managing load balancers, with strong leadership to mentor the network team. On-site, with on-call rotation and 24/7 support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
• 8+ years of experience with 4 years hands-on on technology.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, PCNSE are desirable.

Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP.
• Hands-on routing & switching on Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix, and Cisco ACI.
• Extensive ACI design, implementation, and support across multi-pod/multi-site environments.
• Manage Citrix and F5 load balancers, ensuring optimal performance.
• Provide level 2 support and drive issue resolution to closure.
• Rotate work shifts and provide 24/7 on-call support when needed.

Job Title: L3 Network ACI & Security Engineer

Location: Pune

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer to lead our network operations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco AAA servers, Cisco Next Gen Firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls, Citrix Load Balancers, and Cisco ACI & SDN. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions, as well as providing advanced support and guidance to the network team.

Key Responsibilities

• In depth knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP
• Hands on experience (Expert level) of Routing & Switching on vendor devices Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix and Cisco ACI
• Extensive hands on knowledge of Multi-Pod and Multi-Site ACI design, implementation, and support, Tenant constructs, Application network profiles, Contracts, Fabric access policies, extensions & Routing and policies
• Working knowledge of Citrix and F5 load Balancer products.
• Will provide level 2 support as the final point of escalation and run with issues until the point of resolution.
• Supporting in rotation shifts plus 24/7 On Call support when needed

Qualifications Troubleshooting traffic flows via underlay and overlay Strong Documentation skills Design and implement advanced network solutions. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues. Configure and optimize Cisco AAA servers. Manage and secure Cisco Next Gen Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls. Oversee the deployment and management of Citrix Load Balancers. Implement and manage Cisco ACI & SDN solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the network team. Ability to assist with incident investigations through to timely resolution. Forward planning and ability to manage non-complex implementations. Excellent analytical & interpretive skills. Develop and maintain network documentation and standards. Good Knowledge of ITIL framework and Service management.

Required Skills

Extensive experience with Cisco AAA servers. Advanced proficiency in managing Cisco Next Gen Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls. In-depth knowledge of Citrix Load Balancers. Expertise in Cisco ACI, SDx, Cisco IOS & NXOS Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with 4 years of hand on experience on technology
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP PCNSE) are highly desirable.
