We are seeking a highly experienced Power Systems and Protection Engineer to support strategic transmission network projects for a leading utility in the Middle East. The role focuses on Inverter-Based Resource (IBR) integration, advanced protection engineering, fault investigations, electromagnetic transient studies, and protection system modernization. The successful candidate will independently deliver complex technical studies and advisory assignments covering renewable integration, HVDC and FACTS technologies, disturbance investigations, protection setting validation, and development of protection standards and philosophies. The role requires strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to represent the organization in technical discussions with utility clients, OEMs, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
