Job summary

Consult Asia is seeking an experienced Network Security Operations specialist to provide L2 support for Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls. The role involves handling incidents, troubleshooting VPN/NAT issues, and implementing firewall policy changes to maintain secure and compliant networks.

The candidate will monitor security events, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain high-availability environments. 5–8 years in network security operations with relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in network security operations with firewall expertise.
• Strong Checkpoint or Fortinet firewall expertise required.
• VPN/NAT troubleshooting experience.
• Incident handling and policy management experience.
• Certifications such as CCSA/CCSE/NSE4 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 operational support for Checkpoint/Fortinet firewalls.
• Handle security incidents and escalate where needed.
• Triage and troubleshoot VPN, NAT, and security issues.
• Implement firewall policy changes and monitor rulebases.
• Perform root-cause analysis and maintain high-availability environments.
