Job description

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Routing, Switching, and Fortigate SD-WAN.
• Configure and monitor core controllers and network policies to ensure smooth network operations.
• Perform L3-level troubleshooting for escalated incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement and optimize network performance, redundancy, and security.
• Collaborate with OEM vendors and internal IT teams for upgrades and issue resolution.
• Maintain and update documentation, network topology diagrams, and configuration details.
• Ensure compliance with HPCL’s IT and security standards.
• Participate in network improvement projects and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Switching (VLANs, STP, trunking, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Fortigate SD-WAN configuration and policy management.
• Expertise in core controller configuration and policy‑based networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network environments.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and firewall policies.
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑availability enterprise setup.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience: 8–12 years in enterprise‑level network management and operations.
