Job summary

ThinkWise Consulting LLP is seeking a seasoned network engineer/architect to design, deploy, and troubleshoot large-scale, high-speed networks supporting NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure. This hands-on role requires expert-level experience with data center networking and AI compute environments.

You will lead integration efforts for NVIDIA-based deployments, architect InfiniBand and high-speed Ethernet fabrics, manage BGP routing at scale, and serve as the senior networking authority across AI

Qualifications

• CCIE-level certification or equivalent in data center networking.
• Expertise with InfiniBand, RoCE, NVLink and high-speed Ethernet.
• Experience with BGP and multi-site data center designs.
• 8+ years in data center or AI infrastructure networking.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a seasoned network engineer/architect with deep, real-world expertise in high-performance networking and AI infrastructure. This person will be responsible for designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale, high-speed network environments — particularly those supporting NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure deployments. This is a technical, hands-on role for someone who has been in the trenches of complex network architectures and can operate at an expert level without hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot large-scale, high-availability network architectures supporting AI/ML and GPU-accelerated infrastructure
• Lead network integration efforts for NVIDIA-based environments (compute clusters, GPU data centers, AI infrastructure deployments)
• Architect and optimize high-speed interconnect solutions (InfiniBand, RoCE, NVLink, high-speed Ethernet fabrics, etc.) to support AI workload performance requirements
• Design and manage BGP routing architectures and large-scale enterprise/data center networking topologies
• Serve as the senior technical authority on networking for AI infrastructure projects, from design through deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems engineers, project managers, NVIDIA partner resources) to ensure network design aligns with overall infrastructure and performance goals
• Troubleshoot complex, large-scale network issues in production and pre-production environments
• Document network architectures, configurations, and best practices for internal teams and client handoff
• Stay current on emerging networking technologies relevant to AI infrastructure and high-performance computing

Requirements

• CCIE-level expertise or equivalent, extensive real-world experience in enterprise/data center networking
• Strong understanding of high-speed interconnect technologies (InfiniBand, RoCE/RoCEv2, NVLink, high-speed Ethernet, or similar)
• Expertise with BGP and large-scale networking architectures, including multi-site, high-availability data center designs
• Deep understanding of network protocols, routing/switching, and data center network design principles
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, high-throughput, low-latency network environments
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex networking concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• 8+ years of progressive networking experience, with a strong focus on data center and/or AI infrastructure environments (adjust if you want a different minimum)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CCIE certification (any track — Data Center, Enterprise Infrastructure, Service Provider)
• NVIDIA certifications (e.g., NVIDIA-Certified Professional/Associate programs) or direct NVIDIA partner ecosystem experience
• Experience with InfiniBand fabric design/management (e.g., NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand)
• Experience working in system integrator (SI), consulting, or professional services environments
• Familiarity with data center automation/orchestration tools relevant to network provisioning
