Job summary

BT Group in Gurugram is seeking a Network Design Manager to lead a team of engineers in design and test activities for BT International.

You will coach, develop, and assess performance, ensuring delivery of network designs and testing with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1:1 coaching, performance reviews and development conversations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Proven ability to manage performance and calibrate fairly across teams.
• Experience handling change, hiring, onboarding and talent development.
• Expertise in IP/VPN tech and networking vendors; network design/testing delivery.
• Knowledge of Network Fundamentals (Switching/Routing; ISIS/BGP preferred).
• Familiarity with Cisco platforms (57C3, NCS5K, C1100).

About The Role The purpose of this role is to lead a team of Network Design Engineers on design and test activities within BT International.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and developing people, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance conversations in line with BT's leadership standards and behaviors.

• Running effective 1:1s, check ins and performance reviews, ensuring every colleague understands expectations, goals and development opportunities.
