Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer in Bengaluru to lead incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat hunting. You’ll deploy security solutions across networks and servers, tune systems, and provide data-driven insights while collaborating with the Cybersecurity Architecture team to strengthen defenses in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network/security engineering experience.
• Proficiency in routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, and troubleshooting network issues.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Switches, Cisco Wireless LAN controllers, Palo Alto/Cisco firewalls (including Global Protect), Cloudflare, Akamai, Infoblox, and F5
• Ability to configure, deploy, and maintain firewall policies, security rules, and user authentication (including Global Protect).
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL), NAT, HA, clustering, and performance tuning.
• Experience with centralized management tools (e.g., Cisco Catalyst Center, Strata Cloud Manager, Panorama, Netbrain).
• Experience with packet analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark) and log correlation.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents or automation frameworks such as integrating LLM based assistance (ex: Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong collaboration communication, skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat hunting.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain firewall policies and user authentication (Global Protect).
• Implement security solutions with cutting-edge technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Proactively tune systems, identify new use cases, and provide insights from data to enhance services.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Architecture team to deploy high-tech solutions across networks and servers, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

• Experience building custom AI agents for network operations.
• Build, train, and tune AI models using network log data for diagnostics and incident triage.
• Develop and maintain Ansible/Netbrain playbooks and roles to automate configuration management, application deployment, and orchestration tasks.
• Ability to lead and participate in group projects with global teams.
• ·Strong documentation and continuous improvement mindset.
• Automation skills (Python, Ansible, APIs) are a strong plus.
