Job summary

Netoyed is seeking a senior data engineer to design and scale Snowflake data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise use. The role demands expert Snowflake, SQL, and data modeling skills across cloud environments and data warehouses.

You will build pipelines with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks; mentor engineers; optimize performance and costs; ensure security and governance while coordinating with DevOps and cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience building enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Lead performance tuning, query optimization, cost optimization, security, governance, and data quality.
• Build scalable pipelines using Snowflake features (Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, Stored Procedures).
• Integrate data across cloud, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Guide CI/CD and DevOps practices for data pipelines; conduct reviews and mentor engineers.

Job description

• Design and architect enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Build highly scalable and optimized pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, and Stored Procedures.
• Strong expertise in ETL tools such as Matillion, Informatica, Talend, dbt, or Azure Data Factory.
• Drive performance tuning, query optimization, cost optimization, security, governance, and data quality in Snowflake.
• Design complex batch and real-time data pipelines integrating cloud, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP, data lake architecture, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Lead technical architecture, code/design reviews, troubleshooting, and mentor senior data engineers.
• Ability to independently solve complex data engineering and Snowflake architecture problems and provide enterprise-grade solutions.
