Job summary

EXL is seeking a .NET developer to design, develop, and implement .NET-based software solutions aligned with project needs and technical specs. You will work with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API, and .NET Core across the full software lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience with Visual Studio, API tooling (Swagger, Postman), and modern development practices, plus familiarity with Azure functions and serverless architecture. Office presence in Noida or Pune is expected two days a week.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and implement .NET-based software solutions according to project requirements.
• Proficient in application programming, web development & support using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API, .NET Core).
• Experience with Visual Studio versions and .NET frameworks, WCF, Web API, ASP.NET MVC 4/4.5, LINQ, and .NET Core.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement .NET-based software solutions as per technical specs.
• Write code using .NET languages to implement features and components.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate quality and performance.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to identify technical challenges and dependencies.
• Follow coding standards and version control practices within teams.
• Engage with API tools like Swagger/Postman and ensure RESTful service exposure.
• Possess knowledge of serverless architectures and Azure fundamentals (Azure Functions).
• Support CI/CD pipeline deployments and expose services via API gateways.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement .NET-based software solutions in alignment with project requirements and technical specifications
• Proficient in Application Programming , Web Development & Support using Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP. Net, VB. Net, MVC,WCF, Web API, Dot Net Core)
• Knowledge of Visual Studio .NET 2012-13/2015/2019, WCF Services, Web API and ASP.NET 4.5, ASP.NET MVC 4, LINQ Asp. Net Core
• Write code using .NET languages such as C# to implement features, modules, and components of the software application
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests etc. to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of .NET applications
• Analyze technical requirements, user stories, and system specifications to identify technical challenges and dependencies
• Follow established coding standards, development processes, and version control practices within the software engineering teams
• Knowledge of SOAP UI, Splunk Logger, Telerik Fiddler is also preferred.
• Event based system development, API, Use of Swagger/Postman, exposure of JIRA, CI/CD pipeline deployments
• Should have knowledge on serverless architecture
• Must have knowledge of azure fundamentals and azure functions.

Min 2 days working in office. Locations are Noida, Pune

Shift timings would be until 11 PM IST.
