Capgemini Engineering is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop scalable cloud-native distributed applications using Microsoft technologies. You will work with .NET, Orleans, Azure, and Kubernetes to build robust enterprise solutions.

The role emphasizes design, implementation of microservices, and containerized deployments with AKS, plus REST APIs and CI/CD across agile teams.

Competenze

• 6+ years of hands-on software development with C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 6 / .NET 7 / .NET 8.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Orleans framework.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems design principles.
• Experience building and deploying microservices architectures.
• Good experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / AKS.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable, cloud-native distributed applications using Microsoft technologies. You will work on modern microservices-based architectures, leveraging Microsoft Orleans, Azure Cloud, and Kubernetes to build resilient and high-performing enterprise solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6/.NET 7/.NET 8.
• Develop scalable and fault-tolerant solutions using Microsoft Orleans.
• Architect and implement distributed systems and microservices-based applications.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement containerized deployments using Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven services for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with.NET Core/.NET 6/.NET 7/.NET 8.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Orleans framework.

• Experience building and deploying microservices architectures.
