Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• .NET and C# proficiency with ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Java with Spring Boot or equivalent enterprise framework.
• JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end or full-stack development.
• Experience with Playwright and Cucumber for automated testing.
• Strong TDD commitment with unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• RESTful API design and microservices experience.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Git proficiency; SOLID, design patterns, and clean code.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build and enhance front-end features using JS/TS and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end test suites (Playwright with Cucumber).
• Practice TDD and drive testing throughout development.

• You troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across multiple layers of the technology stack.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• You have strong proficiency in .NET and C#, with hands-on experience building web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core, including Web API, MVC, and Entity Framework.
• You have solid experience with Java, preferably using Spring Boot or an equivalent enterprise framework.
• You have hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for front-end or full-stack development.
• You have hands-on experience developing BDD-style automated test suites using Playwright with Cucumber.
• You have a strong commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience driving feature development through unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• You have experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• You have experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• You have demonstrated experience optimizing SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans for high-performance applications.
• You are proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
• You have a strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

We also believe you have

• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted SDLC practices and experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or BMAD to support development, code review, test generation, and documentation.
• A proactive mindset and an interest in continuously improving software engineering practices and technical solutions.
