Job summary

HGS is seeking a talented Full Stack .NET Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and deploy modern web applications. The role requires strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Angular (v10+), MS SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure PaaS services.

You will build RESTful APIs, develop responsive UI, optimize databases, and deploy and manage apps on Azure. Collaboration with product owners, QA, and development teams is essential to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack .NET Development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful Web APIs and Angular front-ends.
• Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server and query optimization.
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile/Scrum development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

This role requires an individual who has not only developed enterprise applications but has also been actively involved in deploying, managing, and supporting applications hosted on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular (v10 or above).
• Design, develop, and optimize MS SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and performance.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and related services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and developers to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in Full Stack .NET Development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful Web APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular (v10 or above).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS, including:
• Application Settings & Configuration
• Deployment Slots
• Application Insights
• Good understanding of frontend‑backend integration.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to Azure Monitor, Key Vault, and other Azure cloud services is an added advantage.

Experience with Azure App Service, Azure SQL, application configuration, monitoring, and production support will be highly valued.
