Job summary

Iris Software is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Core Developer with 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and modernize large enterprise applications.

You will lead migrations to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and build RESTful APIs and microservices, while optimizing performance, security, and scalability. Collaboration with architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and modernizing enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core; cloud migration experience.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server, and EF Core; Git version control.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred) and CI/CD tooling.

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Core Developer with 7 to 9 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in .NET Core and practical experience with cloud migration projects, helping transform legacy applications into scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Lead or contribute to migration of on‑premises applications to cloud platforms.
• Analyze existing applications and define migration strategies.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices‑based applications.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long‑term solutions.
• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.

Required Skills

• 79 years of experience in Microsoft technology stack.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with cloud migration and application modernization.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one cloud platform:
  • Microsoft Azure (preferred), or
  • AWS, or
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates).
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Agile/Scrum development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) are a plus.
