Job summary

NGA Human Resources Belgium, an Alight company, is seeking a software developer to design, build and maintain .NET web applications, APIs, and front-end modules. You will work with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server in a collaborative, AGILE environment.

The role emphasizes creating robust, secure web solutions, performing unit and integration testing, and aligning with architectural patterns. Familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience analyzing and understanding application storyboards and use cases.
• Design, build and maintain efficient and reusable C#.NET core code.
• Design, build and maintain Microsoft .NET Web based applications.
• Fix defects and risks to ensure functionality.
• Ensure performance and quality using standard best practices.
• Maintain code quality with project quality standards and tooling.
• Develop web UIs (Bootstrap knowledge a plus).
• Debug and troubleshoot existing code and write unit tests.
• Create database tables, stored procedures, functions, etc.
• Coordinate with AGILE team and keep JIRA updated.

• Fix identified defects or observations that are potential impacts or risks for the functionality
• Ensure best possible performance and quality of the application using project and standard best practices
• Help maintain code quality using project quality standard (or using tools)
• Design and develop web user interfaces (good to know frameworks such as bootstrap)
• Debug and Troubleshoot problems in existing code
• Develop unit test cases and perform unit testing
• Work on creating database tables, stored procedures, functions etc
• Coordinate with AGILE team
• Maintain updates to JIRA with the latest changes and appropriate status.
