Job summary

Octobotics seeks a skilled Naval Architect to contribute to ship design, stability analysis, and marine robotic integration aligned with international classification standards.

You will collaborate with internal teams, shipyards, surveyors, and classification societies to prepare designs, perform stability assessments, and ensure compliance with IMO rules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Naval Architecture.
• Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of Class rules, IMO regulations, and ship design standards.
• Proficiency in ship design and engineering software such as AutoCAD, NAPA, Maxsurf, Rhino, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review ship designs, stability assessments, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Class rules, IMO regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Support structural design, corrosion control planning, and weight estimation.
• Coordinate with surveyors, shipyards, and classification societies.

• Support ship design, construction, and related technical activities as required.
