The ideal candidate should be proficient in both vocal and instrumental music and capable of teaching students across various age groups in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher should inspire a love for music, nurture creativity, and prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach vocal and instrumental music to students across different grades, in accordance with the CBSE curriculum
• Train students in singing, rhythm, melody, musical notation, and expression
• Lead and manage school choir, orchestra, and music clubs
• Prepare students for annual functions, assemblies, competitions, and other events
• Utilize modern teaching tools and digital music resources to enhance classroom engagement
• Maintain musical instruments and ensure discipline in the music room
• Encourage student composition, improvisation, and creative expression

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, or a diploma in Indian or Western music
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school
