Synechron is seeking a Murex Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience to provide technology leadership, solution architecture guidance, and strategic direction for Murex-related technology initiatives. The role is responsible for translating business requirements into technology solutions, guiding cross-functional teams, supporting successful project delivery, and ensuring that technology roadmaps align with overall business strategy. The position contributes to business objectives by improving technology efficiency, supporting informed technology adoption, and delivering scalable, maintainable, and effective solutions.
Strong technical expertise in multiple areas of software development and technology. Ability to understand and assess programming, scripting, configuration, and integration requirements relevant to Murex solution architecture. Ability to review technical implementations and guide development teams toward appropriate architectural solutions.
Preferred: Experience with programming or scripting languages used within the assigned Murex and technology environment. Experience defining reusable components, automation approaches, or development standards.
Knowledge of database management systems and data structures. Understanding of data modeling, data integrity, data access, data quality, and data lifecycle considerations. Ability to assess database-related dependencies and their impact on solution architecture.
Ability to guide teams in addressing data-related risks and technical issues. Preferred Experience with relational, distributed, or cloud-based database technologies. Experience with data integration, migration, reconciliation, reporting, or data quality initiatives. Experience assessing database performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure. Understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure components, deployment models, scalability, availability, monitoring, and service dependencies. Ability to evaluate the suitability of cloud-based approaches for technology solutions.
Preferred Experience designing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based technology solutions. Experience with infrastructure automation, containerization, cloud monitoring, and deployment practices. Experience promoting efficient infrastructure use and reducing unnecessary processing or resource consumption.
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Ability to assess frameworks, libraries, reusable components, and technical dependencies relevant to Murex solutions.
Preferred: Experience with enterprise integration frameworks and reusable technology libraries. Experience defining modular solution designs and technical standards. Experience assessing framework suitability, lifecycle support, maintainability, and integration impact.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Understanding of software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, release, and support.
Experience leading technology projects and coordinating work across cross-functional teams. Experience using tools for project tracking, documentation, issue management, collaboration, and delivery reporting.
Preferred: Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, release management, and deployment practices. Experience with architecture governance, technical roadmaps, delivery metrics, and process improvement. Experience managing project risks, dependencies, issues, and delivery priorities.
Understanding of secure software architecture and technology governance requirements. Awareness of authentication, authorization, access control, data protection, and secure handling of technical information.
Preferred: Experience incorporating security controls into Murex and related technology solutions. Experience supporting security reviews, risk assessments, audit activities, and remediation planning.
