Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Murex Developer with strong MX.3 expertise to design, develop, and support enterprise trading and risk management solutions. You will work closely with business users, operations, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, high-performing platforms across capital markets.

The role covers Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and Reporting modules, with responsibilities spanning design, development, testing, deployment, and production

We are looking for an experienced Murex Developer with strong expertise in Murex MX.3 to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise trading and risk management solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Murex workflows, interfaces, technical components, and front-to-back trade processing. This role requires close collaboration with business users, operations teams, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions across capital markets platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, enhance, and support Murex MX.3 applications and technical components.
• Design and implement MxML workflows, interfaces, market data feeds, and integration solutions.
• Configure and support Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Collateral, and Reporting modules within Murex.
• Develop and maintain MxML Exchange interfaces and integration frameworks.
• Work with dynamic tables, formulas, templates, scripts, and data dictionaries within the Murex environment.
• Analyze business requirements, perform gap analysis, and propose technical solutions.
• Support pre-trade and post-trade workflows across multiple business functions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Murex services, workflows, interfaces, databases, and batch processes.
• Monitor and maintain production environments to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Work closely with business users, support teams, QA teams, and downstream systems for issue resolution and enhancement requests.
• Participate in release planning, deployment activities, configuration management, and production support.
• Optimize performance across pricing engines, workflow processing, trade booking, settlement, and reporting functions.
• Assist in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders across different time zones.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience working with Murex MX.3 platforms.
• Strong expertise in MxML Exchange, workflows, Datamart, and MDR components.
• Experience working with Murex simulation views, static data, and market data configurations.
• Strong understanding of pre-trade and post-trade lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle or Sybase databases and advanced SQL development.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within Murex environments.
• Experience working with Murex services, log analysis, and environment management.
• Knowledge of batch scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or Tidal.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle workflows across capital markets environments.
• Experience in at least one asset class such as FX, Money Markets, Interest Rates, Equities, Fixed Income, or Derivatives.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Trading, and Risk Management processes.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release management processes.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell commands.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to participate in client discussions, requirement workshops, and solution reviews.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex deliverables.
