Job summary

Reuters in Bengaluru is seeking a Multimedia News Producer to curate, package and publish stories with text, video, photos and graphics for Reuters.com and clients. You will edit, localize and publish stories for Reuters Ready and oversee AI-assisted workflows in a fast-paced newsroom.

You will join the India digital desk, collaborate with editors across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and ensure editorial standards, accuracy and timely delivery across digital surfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in a news agency, newspaper, digital publisher or TV newsroom.
• Strong news judgment and quick prioritization of stories.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience with multimedia content and digital publishing platforms.
• Interest in AI-enabled newsroom workflows and new editorial technologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a human-in-the-loop editor for AI-assisted production workflows, refining AI-generated story packages and headlines to Reuters standards.
• Monitor Reuters text, photo and video services to identify misses and promote engaging stories.
