Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and validate content in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
• Translate and proofread content between the supported languages.
• Review AI-generated translations and identify incorrect, unnatural, or contextually wrong output.
• Validate song lyrics and transcription against the actual audio/video.
• Identify missing, incorrect, duplicated, or misheard words.
• Check timing: start/end, synchronization, and scene alignment in videos.
• Review line breaks and lyric formatting for readability.
• Ensure translations preserve meaning and context.
• Document discrepancies between original audio and transcription/translation.
• Provide feedback to product/engineering/QA teams to improve multilingual AI content.

Job description

We are looking for a Multilingual Language QA / Translator who can fluently read, understand, speak, and review content in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The role involves reviewing video, audio, lyrics, subtitles, transcriptions, translations, and AI-generated language output. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of language, context, timing, and how lyrics or subtitles should appear within a video.

This is not limited to word-to-word translation. We are looking for someone who can review content with an editorial and viewer mindset and identify whether the language, lyrics, timing, and context feel correct.

Role & responsibilities

1. Review and validate content in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
2. Translate and proofread content between supported languages.
3. Review AI-generated translations and identify incorrect, unnatural, or contextually wrong output.
4. Validate song lyrics and transcription against the actual audio/video.
5. Identify missing, incorrect, duplicated, or misheard words.
6. Check whether lyrics or subtitles:
7. Start at the correct time.
8. End at the correct time.
9. Are synchronized with the singer/speaker.
10. Appear too early or too late.
11. Continue into the wrong video scene.
12. Overflow or remain on screen longer than required.
13. Review line breaks and lyric formatting for readability.
14. Check whether translated lyrics preserve the original meaning and context.
15. Identify pronunciation, spelling, grammar, and language-specific issues.
16. Compare original audio with transcription/translation and document discrepancies.
17. Review sample videos and provide detailed feedback on issues found.
18. Work closely with product, engineering, and QA teams to improve multilingual AI-generated content.
19. Help create language-specific test cases and quality benchmarks.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Strong command of Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
2. Must be able to read and understand written Tamil and Telugu, not just speak them.
3. Good understanding of grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and conversational usage.
4. Ability to understand songs, dialogues, and spoken content in different accents.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to identify subtle differences between correct and incorrect translations.
7. Comfortable reviewing video/audio content repeatedly for accuracy.
8. Basic understanding of subtitles, captions, lyrics, transcription, or video editing workflows is preferred.
9. Ability to independently review AI output rather than relying only on translation tools or AI tools.
