Job summary

Confidential, based in Navi Mumbai, seeks a Senior Multi-Site Plant Leader to oversee manufacturing operations across multiple facilities. You will drive end-to-end plant performance, lead a high-caliber team, and champion continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity.

Serving as a strategic partner to regional and global leadership, you will manage budgets, capital investments, and profitability while delivering sustainable performance enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience including plant management or multi-site responsibility.
• Full P&L ownership experience for manufacturing plant, business unit, or multi-site operation.
• Hands-on leadership in metal stamping and plastic injection molding manufacturing.
• Strong background in high-volume, precision manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading business transformation, organizational change, or capacity expansion.
• Sound knowledge of automotive and/or industrial manufacturing quality systems and operational excellence methodologies.
• Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and productivity tools.
• Demonstrated customer-facing leadership including strategic reviews and escalations.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, capital investments, and profitability.

About the Opportunity

A global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Multi-Site Plant Leader to oversee complex manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence across multiple facilities. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for end-to-end plant performance, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, continuous improvement, and site administration.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering business growth, enhancing operational performance, building high-performing teams, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with global organizational objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.
• Drive manufacturing excellence through capability building, technical talent development, and process optimization.
• Improve key operational metrics including safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost optimization, quality enhancement, and service levels.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including plant management, site leadership, or responsibility for a significant manufacturing business unit.
• Full P&L ownership experience for a manufacturing plant, business unit, or multi‑site operation, including responsibility for revenue, cost management, profitability, and capital investments.
• Hands-on leadership experience in both metal stamping and plastic injection molding manufacturing operations is required.
• Strong background in high-volume, precision manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading business transformation, organizational change, operational turnaround, capacity expansion, or new facility development initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in building organizational capability and driving sustainable performance improvements in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Sound knowledge of automotive and/or industrial manufacturing quality systems and operational excellence methodologies.
• Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, and productivity management tools.
• Demonstrated customer-facing leadership experience, including managing strategic customer relationships, business reviews, and complex operational escalations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, capital investments, and operational profitability.
