Job summary

KAAPRO in Mumbai seeks a Motion Graphics Designer with strong After Effects skills to turn concepts and storyboards into premium animated sequences for corporate and explainer videos.

You will collaborate with editors to ensure seamless integration, maintain a high visual standard, and contribute to asset creation in a studio near Masjid Bunder, Mumbai. A 2-4 year track record and a strong reel are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of motion graphics experience.
• A strong reel that shows genuine design craft (not just templates).
• Strong command of Adobe After Effects.
• Good design fundamentals — layout, type, composition.
• Good spoken and written English.
• In-office role on/near the Central Line, Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics for corporate and explainer videos (titles, lower-thirds, kinetic typography, iconography, infographic/data animation, transitions, brand motion).
• Turn concepts and storyboards into polished sequences.
• Collaborate with the edit team to integrate motion graphics into the final video.
• Maintain a high visual bar and client-facing standard for layouts and movement.
• Handle design-adjacent tasks and asset creation as needed.

We're a B2B video production studio creating high-end corporate videos, explainer videos, and motion graphics — polished, premium corporate storytelling, in the vein of keynote and interview-style content. You'll work on portfolio-worthy projects for serious clients, out of our studio in Masjid Bunder, Mumbai.

The Role

We're looking for a Motion Graphics Designer whose standout strength is design sense, backed by strong After Effects skills. You'll turn concepts and storyboards into polished animated sequences and help make every frame look premium.

What you'll do

• Design and animate motion graphics for corporate and explainer videos (titles, lower-thirds, kinetic typography, iconography, infographic/data animation, transitions, brand motion)
• Take concepts and storyboards and bring them to life as clean, premium animated sequences
• Work closely with the edit team so motion graphics integrate seamlessly into the final video
• Maintain a high visual bar — strong layout, typography, and tasteful movement — to a client-facing standard
• Handle design-adjacent tasks and asset creation as needed

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of motion graphics experience
• A strong reel that shows genuine design craft (not just templates)
• Strong command of Adobe After Effects
• Good design fundamentals — layout, type, composition
• Good spoken and written English
• Comfortable in a full-time, in-office role on/near the Central Line
• Candidates from reputed design institutes (Arena Animation, MAAC, or similar) are a plus, but a strong portfolio matters more than the institute
