Job summary

IPE Global is seeking an experienced Monitoring and MIS Manager to lead data-driven oversight for a five-year vocational education project in schools across the state. You will review government data systems, track progress, measure outcomes, and embed learnings to improve student retention.

The role requires coordinating with the National MEL Expert, developing KPIs, dashboards, and data visualisation for policy guidance and programme delivery. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Social Studies, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies or related disciplines.
• Desirable certification in data management/analysis.
• Significant practical experience valued; 10 years in handling large-scale data management projects may be accepted in place of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Review existing state government data systems on vocational education in schools, skilling and placements and co-create Vocational KPIs for state-level dashboard.
• Compile and collate education-related data on enrolment, transition, retention etc. to create regular projections and forecasts for the state.
• Support strengthening of state-level MIS and dashboards for tracking VE and skilling outcomes, ensuring gender-disaggregation of results.
• Contextualise national reporting and performance frameworks as per state requirements.
• Prepare high-quality analytical reports for reporting.
• Supervise and conduct studies/surveys for assessing project progress along with the National MEL Expert.

Qualification& Experience

EducationalBackground

• At least agraduate degree in Social Studies, Economics, Statistics, Development Studiesor other relevant disciplines. Certification in data management/analysis isdesirable.
• Significantpractical experience is highly valued, and experience of at least 10 years inhandling large-scale data management projects may be accepted in place of a degree.

WorkExperience:

• At leastsix (6) years of relevant work experience in MEL of education programmes with a gender focus. Experience in monitoring and evaluating vocationaleducation/skilling programmes is desirable.
• Provenunderstanding of statistics and econometrics, sampling, data visualisation,statistical software, research techniques and designs.
• Strongunderstanding of government data systems used in education (like NE, andnational and state frameworks guiding vocational education in schools) will bepreferred.
