We are seeking a Model Based Engineer who will be responsible for authoring and maintaining the 3D digital definitions of composite satellite structures within CAD platforms — defining ply shapes, sequencing, drop‑off profiles, and core materials. The role owns the model‑based workflow end to end: simulating how fabrics conform to complex molds to catch manufacturing issues before parts are built, generating flat patterns and factory‑floor outputs (laser projection, automated cutting, and AFP paths), producing ply books and cross‑section documentation for repeatability, and integrating designs with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter to manage engineering changes and maintain traceability across teams.
