Job summary

Virtusa in Hyderabad is seeking a QA/Test professional to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for web, mobile, and API applications. You will ensure traceability from requirements to tests, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testability and quality.

Hands-on experience with Appium, Azure DevOps, and REST APIs is preferred; familiarity with Agile environments is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures for product development, integration and production.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Ensure traceability from software requirements to test design and implementation; maintain detailed test documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testability and adherence to requirements.
• Support test infrastructure setup and development of test tools, stubs, simulators, and emulators.
• Work within Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to quality assurance improvements.

Job Requirements

Must Have- Verification & Validation, Agile testing, Hardware verification and validation, Creating, updating, executing Automation protocols, Process validation, DOucmentation, good communication skills, Analytical Skills, Azure/JIRA tools, Any test amangement tools, Test life Cycle. JD: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures for product development, integration, and production. Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.Ensure traceability from software requirements to test design and implementation; maintain detailed test documentation including plans, procedures, and reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are designed for testability and meet technical and functional requirements.Support test infrastructure setup and development of test tools, stubs, simulators, and emulators.Work within Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance processes. Experience- Deep understanding of software design, development, debugging, and testing best practices. Hands-on experience with configuration management tools and CI/CD pipeline implementation. Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting expertise.Proficiency two or more of the following programming languages C, C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, VBScript, C#, .NET, Perl, Python. Strong experience in Mobile automation using both open-source and commercial tools and a rich experience working Appium based Test Automation. Extensive background in test automation, including framework design, development, and modernization. Experience with AI-based testing tools.Both Agile and Waterfall software development methods ,REST Server and REST interfaces Strong in Windows environments utilizing Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps with Git workflows.
