Job summary

SuperK is seeking an experienced Mobile Developer (Flutter) to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile apps used by customers, store teams, and partners. You will work with the Engineering Lead and cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment.

The role requires strong Flutter and Dart skills, OOP fundamentals, and experience deploying iOS and Android apps. You will contribute to architecture decisions, write clean code, and participate in Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of strong proficiency in the Flutter and Dart programming languages.
• Experience developing and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party SDKs and services.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Agile concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile application features end-to-end using Flutter and Dart.
• Write clean, productive, maintainable, well-structured code following engineering best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve defects with focus on quality and user experience.
• Plan roadmaps and feature rollouts with input from PMs and Engineering Lead.
• Participate in requirement discussions and Agile sprint ceremonies.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
• Document code, APIs, and implementation details for scalability and maintainability.
• Apply AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.
• Learn and apply new mobile technologies and standards.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability across mobile platforms in variable network conditions.

As a Mobile Developer (Flutter), you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that customers, store teams, and partners rely on every day. The role requires strong mobile development fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build scalable, user-friendly applications while working closely with the Engineering Lead and cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile application features end-to-end using Flutter, working closely with the Engineering Lead on architecture decisions for apps used by customers, store teams, and partners.
• Write clean, productive, maintainable, and well-structured code following engineering best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve defects with attention to quality, performance, and user experience.
• Stay aligned with product strategy, evaluate feasibility of ideas from PMs, estimate effort, and help plan roadmaps and feature rollouts.
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint ceremonies, and Agile development workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow developers, QA, product managers, and cross-functional teams to meet timelines and unblock each other.
• Document code, APIs, technical designs, and implementation details to ensure everything you build is scalable and maintainable.
• Use AI-assisted tools (e. g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT) responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.
• Continuously learn and apply new mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, security, and scalability across mobile platforms critical for users in Tier 3-5 towns with variable network conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of strong proficiency in the Flutter and Dart programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Experience developing and deploying mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc. ).
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party SDKs and services.
• Understanding of application lifecycle, state management, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of Agile concepts (user stories, backlog, sprints).
• A proactive mindset to build things from scratch in an unstructured environment.
• High ownership, curiosity, and the ability to balance pragmatism with quality.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills; a quick learner with a growth mindset.
• Interest in the retail and e-commerce space and building tech that works for small-town India.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with state management frameworks such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or similar.
• Knowledge of unit testing, widget testing, and mobile automation testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployment.
• Understanding of mobile app publishing processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with mobile application security best practices.
• Prior experience building apps for low-connectivity or offline-first environments.
