Job summary

Smart Working is a remote-first company hiring a Mobile Developer to enhance a cross-platform app, delivering new features, improving UI, and implementing API changes. The role features an equal split between front-end and back-end work, in a data-heavy environment with strict attention to detail.

You will join a team including another mobile developer, eight software developers, two project managers and other IT staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cross-platform/mobile development experience.

• Experience with cross‑platform tools (MAUI, React Native, Flutter, Swift, Android Studio).

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain an existing cross‑platform mobile application.
• Develop and implement new features within the application.
• Implement API changes to support application functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET MAUI or relevant cross-platform/native mobile development using React Native, Flutter, Swift or Android Studio.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET / C#, which is an essential requirement with no substitute.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in mobile development.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams and other mobile developers.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with data-heavy systems.

• Ability to manage tasks autonomously while following established DevOps processes.

• Ability to execute assigned development tasks and contribute to technical problem-solving discussions when required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring deliverables meet requirements.

Nice to Have

• At least 1 year of experience with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.

• At least 2 years of experience with GitHub or equivalent version control platforms such as GitLab or Bitbucket.

• At least 1 year of experience with Jira for project management or alternatives such as Linear or Trello.

• At least 1 year of experience with Claude Code or Codex.
