Job description

We are looking for a Mobile Automation Java SDET with strong Java development and automation experience to contribute to high-quality product delivery in a fast-paced agile environment. You will be responsible for designing and developing automated tests, participating in agile ceremonies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality is embedded across the development lifecycle. This is an ideal role if you enjoy hands-on coding, working on automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless mobile product releases.

Requirements

Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 5 to 10 years (4–8 years relevant)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Department: Quality Engineering & Automation
Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong Java programming skills with hands-on coding
• Core Java, Object-Oriented Design & Development
• Expertise in SQL and JDBC
• Experience with Git and build tools (Maven, Gradle)
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to estimate, scope, and implement automation efforts

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation tests using Java for mobile applications
• Scope and estimate automation efforts for user stories in sprints
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies (standups, planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives)
• Ensure QA and testing are integrated throughout the development lifecycle
• Communicate defects clearly and verify fixes within sprint increments
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality releases
• Contribute to maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks
• Manage priorities effectively and ensure deliverables are met within timelines

Good to Have:

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
• Knowledge of API automation and backend testing
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments
