Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic, globally distributed team, working with clients across Europe and the USA. This role combines hands‑on manual testing with advanced test automation to ensure the quality and performance of high‑profile web applications, including e‑commerce platforms, online banking, and trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive manual and exploratory testing, ensuring functionality, usability, performance, and speed optimization.
• Report, track and verify defects using Jira, TestRail and other QA tools.
• Conduct pre‑release and regression testing to guarantee high‑quality deployments.
• Develop, maintain and expand automated test suites using Cucumber.js, Playwright, Page Object Model, TypeScript and XPath selectors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Europe and the USA, effectively communicating test results and QA insights in English.
• Explore and integrate AI‑powered testing tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks and test strategies.
• Validate performance improvements and ensure applications are fast, scalable and optimized for end users.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in QA with a strong mix of manual and automated testing.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes and defect lifecycle management.
• Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (preferably Playwright, Cucumber.js).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI tools in QA workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based test environments.
• Familiarity with web application performance optimization, e‑commerce, online banking and trading systems.
• Prior experience with BDD or TDD approaches.
