Job Description

Eufinger Studio is seeking a Mid-level Architect to join our growing Pune team and contribute to architecture and interior design projects across residential and commercial sectors. This role is ideal for a motivated designer eager to learn the full design process, develop technical and creative skills, and collaborate across our Pune and San Francisco studios.

The Mid-level Architect will support projects from concept through execution, assisting with drawings, presentations, material research, and coordination with consultants and vendors. We are looking for someone with strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and enthusiasm to grow within a collaborative studio environment.

At Eufinger Studio, we value the following qualities:
  • Be Proactive – Take initiative, do research, and don’t be afraid to try new things. Prevent issues rather than having to fix them later.
  • Be Reliable – Be someone leadership can trust to deliver on any task.
  • Be Accountable – From the big picture to the day‑to‑day, own the decisions you make.
  • Be Consistent – Prove you can do it, and then do it again.
  • Be Tenacious – Be committed, show up, contribute with passion, do your best, get stuff done and don’t give up.
  • Be Independent – Take a task or project and run with it, but don’t be afraid to ask questions.
  • Be Clever – Be smart, know your stuff, think critically, keep the big picture in mind, figure things out, and be curious.
  • Be Generous– Share your knowledge and skills with other teammates, and mentor others when you can.
  • Be Nice– Be a team player and a good colleague, be honest, respect your peers, don’t take yourself too seriously, and have fun!
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design, documentation, and project coordination across residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Excellent fluency in English in verbal and written form. Marathi or Hindi is highly preferred to effectively coordinate with local consultants, vendors, and site teams.
  • Strong design sensibility with the ability to balance conceptual thinking with technical execution.
  • Solid understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, construction systems, and coordination with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
  • Good knowledge of materials, finishes, building systems, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of overall project goals and timelines.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing effectively in a studio environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and supporting projects across different stages, from concept design through construction documentation.
  • Positive, proactive, and curious attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a design‑driven practice.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem‑solving skills in day‑to‑day project work.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the majority of these softwares: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Twinmotion or other visualization tools, and Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong architectural drawing and visualization skills; hand sketching ability is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of project tasks under the guidance of project leadership, supporting design from concept through documentation.
  • Demonstrate initiative, problem‑solving, and attention to precision and accuracy at a task‑specific level.
  • Produce presentation and contract deliverables including diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, physical models, and visualizations.
  • Assist in preparing architectural and interior drawing sets across all project phases.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams through clear written, verbal, and visual methods.
  • Collaborate actively within project teams by critically and constructively engaging with design ideas.
  • Support the development of design concepts with strong graphic and conceptual design skills.
  • Develop a working understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques.
  • Use appropriate digital and analogue tools to design and document projects at all phases.
  • Research materials, finishes, and products; assist in maintaining the Material Library and Vendor Database.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors under senior guidance.
  • Participate in site visits, documentation, and coordination meetings.
  • Manage time and workload to meet deadlines with regular direction from project leadership.
