Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager – AI Engineer to lead strategic AI initiatives and drive the design, development, and adoption of agent-based solutions using Microsoft AI technologies. The role combines deep technical leadership with enterprise-scale delivery across EY’s Global Delivery Services.

You will mentor teams, define architectural standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager – AI Engineer to lead strategic AI initiatives and drive the design, development, and adoption of agent-based solutions using Microsoft AI technologies. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership to scale AI-driven transformation across enterprise functions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and agent-based frameworks.


• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of intelligent agents built using Microsoft Agent Framework / Semantic Kernel (Python or C#).


• Define architecture standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks for scalable AI solutions.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Mentor team members and ensure high-quality delivery across AI initiatives.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Strong expertise in Copilot Studio and enterprise‑grade AI agent development.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Agent Framework / Semantic Kernel (Python or C#).


• Extensive experience with Azure AI Foundry and AI/ML ecosystem.


• Deep understanding of agent‑based architectures, orchestration patterns, and enterprise integrations.


• Proven ability to define architecture and lead large‑scale AI programs.


• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.


• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions within enterprise systems and workflows.


• Translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures and reusable components.


• Ensure solution performance, reliability, and alignment with enterprise security and governance standards.


• Ability to work effectively in distributed, onshore–offshore delivery models.

Ideally, you’ll also

The following skills are preferred and add value to the role:

• Experience with Power Platform.


• Experience with Azure Integration Services.


• Experience supporting large transformation or digital modernization programs


• Familiarity with testing tools, deployment cycles, and release management practices


• Experience working across multiple industries or complex business environments

What We Look For

• Relevant Experience (AI/Agent‑based solutions): 1+ Years


• Prior experience in client‑facing consulting or enterprise delivery engagements.


• Degree in BE / B.Tech / MCA / MBA or equivalent with relevant industry experience.


• Microsoft AI certification is preferred.
