Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc is seeking an experienced data engineering professional to design and optimize scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric notebooks, PySpark, and SQL. The role requires deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling to deliver high-quality data solutions.

You will own end-to-end data integration tasks, collaborate with onshore teams, and work within Signet business hours.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Notebooks, PySpark, and SQL (PySQL/T-SQL).
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines, primarily using Fabric Notebooks (limited use of Data Pipelines).
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, well-tested solutions.
• Experience with Git/source control (Azure DevOps) and Agile ways of working preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with onshore teams.
• Availability to work during Signet business hours.
• Experience required: 8-10 years.
