Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft analytics, reporting, or Power Platform solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience in managed services or enterprise support.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, incident management, root cause analysis, and ITIL processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve platform incidents, user issues, and service requests.
• Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions for recurring issues.
• Manage support queues and ensure adherence to SLA and KPI targets.
• Coordinate with Microsoft support, platform owners, and engineering teams when required.
• Support Fabric Data Factory pipelines, Lakehouse workloads, Warehouses, and semantic models; resolve Power BI issues.
• Monitor scheduled processes and investigate failed jobs or workflow executions.
• Assist with report validation and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, and Dataverse issues.
• Assist with integration issues involving APIs, connectors, and Azure services.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and documentation.

The Microsoft Fabric & Power Platform Support Engineer provides advanced platform support, incident resolution, application troubleshooting, and user assistance across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.

The role serves as a key escalation point for operational issues and collaborates closely with platform administrators, developers, and business users.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft analytics, reporting, or Power Platform solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Key Responsibilities Incident & Service Request Management

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve platform incidents, user issues, and service requests.
• Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions for recurring issues
• Manage support queues and ensure adherence to established SLA and KPI targets.
• Coordinate with Microsoft support, platform owners, and engineering teams when required. Fabric & Analytics Support
• Support Fabric Data Factory pipelines, Lakehouse workloads, Warehouses, and Semantic Models. Resolve Power BI reporting, refresh, dataset, workspace, gateway, and performance issues.
• Monitor scheduled processes and investigate failed jobs or workflow executions.
• Assist with report validation and production support activities. Power Platform Support
• Troubleshoot Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, and Dataverse-related issues.
• Support application deployments, user access requests, and environment-specific configurations.
• Assist with integration issues involving APIs, connectors, and Azure services.
• Participate in testing and release verification activities. Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement
• Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, user guides, and troubleshooting runbooks.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive support activities using Power Automate and Copilot Studio. Participate in service reviews and recommend operational improvements
• Support user adoption, training sessions, and platform enablement initiatives.
