Job summary

Quantumv Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to support and enhance the finance applications for a global retail client. You will work directly with finance stakeholders, perform requirement analysis, and lead functional testing and documentation.

Ideal candidates have extensive D365 F&O Finance module experience, production support background, strong analytical skills, and excellent client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in D365 F&O Finance Functional Consulting.
• Experience in Incident Management, RCA, and Enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance applications.
• Own and resolve finance-related incidents, service requests, defects, and enhancement requirements.
• Perform requirement gathering, impact analysis, root cause analysis, and functional solution design.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support core Finance modules including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Financial Dimensions, Journals, Posting Profiles, Workflows, and Financial Reporting.
• Work on enhancements and customized D365 processes in collaboration with development and technical teams.
• Analyze Finance integration points with Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing, and other SCM processes.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), requirement documents, test cases, test evidence, and user documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for bug fixes and enhancements.
• Support production releases and perform post-production validation.
• Use Azure DevOps for managing requirements, backlog items, defects, testing, and releases.

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance Functional Consultant to support and enhance the finance applications of a global retail client.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in D365 F&O Finance modules, production/application support, incident management, root cause analysis, enhancements, functional documentation, and testing. This role requires close collaboration with finance stakeholders, business users, developers, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance applications.

• Use Azure DevOps for managing requirements, backlog items, defects, testing, and releases.
• Work directly with client stakeholders and finance users to understand issues, provide updates, and drive timely resolution.
• Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and escalations across functional and technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in D365 F&O Finance Functional Consulting.

• Strong experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, & UAT.
• Good understanding of Finance and SCM integration, including procurement, inventory, and sales processes.
• Experience working with customized D365 F&O solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

• Experience in the Retail industry.
• Knowledge of Freight Consolidation processes.
• Experience with Data Migration.
• Experience working in multi-legal entity or global environments.
• MB-310 certification is an added advantage.
