EY is hiring a Senior Microsoft 365 Solution Architect (GDS) in Chennai. You will lead enterprise-scale design and delivery for SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and full-stack integration, shaping modern workplace solutions.

Role emphasizes architectural leadership, cross-team collaboration, and governance-aware development within EY’s global environment. Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Competenze

• 7–12 years of enterprise solution architecture and development experience.
• Hands-on experience with SPFx, Microsoft Teams app development, .NET/C#, REST APIs and integration patterns.

Your key responsibilities

• Produces high-quality solution or infrastructure deliverables in accordance with project timelines and specifications, using sound coding and programming skills
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process contributing to moderately complex aspects of a project
• Maintains and enhances systems by fixing complicated errors, raising risks and escalating issues where necessary
• Works with users to capture detailed requirements, translating designs and solution architecture into design specifications
• Monitors and reports on potential risks/opportunities of emerging technologies, and seeks areas for continuous improvement
• Ensures all activities adhere to the relevant processes, procedures, standards and technical design
• Develop and promote best practices for usage, operations and development
• Strong analytical and communication skills with intense drive to learn and adopt.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's or master's degree
• Strong experience across Microsoft SharePoint (on‑premises and online), with the ability to modernize and extend solutions beyond platform constraints
• Proven hands‑on expertise with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Apps, and Power Automate for building modern, extensible business solutions
• Strong front‑end development skills using TypeScript, React, Angular, and Fluent UI, with an emphasis on scalable and reusable components
• Solid experience with PowerShell and PnP for automation, provisioning, and enterprise governance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to operate as a solution architect and trusted advisor
• Ideally, you’ll also have Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
