Job summary

Milan Laboratories in India seeks a Manager Microbiology to lead the Microbiology function for OSD and Injectable operations at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will oversee laboratory testing, ensure CGMP compliance, and drive continuous improvement in microbiology processes.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on testing expertise, and a proven track record in sterile product testing and regulatory documentation. This is a on-site position based in Dahej, Gujarat.

Qualifications

• CGMP knowledge and experience.
• Experience in microbiology testing and sterility testing.
• Strong documentation and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage microbiological testing laboratory operations per CGMP guidelines.
• Oversee sterility testing of injectables, including media preparation, inoculation, incubation, and data analysis.
• Develop QC procedures for tablets production lines to ensure product integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve microbial contamination issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of test results, protocols and reports.

• Oversee sterility testing of injectables, including media preparation, inoculation, incubation, and data analysis.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for tablets production lines to ensure product integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to microbial contamination or defects in pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure accurate documentation of test results, protocols, and reports according to regulatory requirements.
