Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across campus facilities. A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience of 5+ years in construction is required. Salary is negotiable for deserving candidates.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate problem solving between MEP Subcontractors.
• Validate design issues related to MEP.
• Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
• Log all MEP changes and as-built information.
• Assist in the scope review and budgeting of MEP work.
• Direct and monitor MEP Subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate MEP materials, systems, and drawings.
• Liaise with Consultant MEP Engineers.
• Ensure quality documentation from MEP Subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to project safety regulations.
• Assist in testing and commissioning MEP equipment.

Job Title: MEP Engineer (Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing Engineer)

Job Description:

The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the campus facilities. The role ensures safe, efficient, and sustainable operations while complying with applicable standards and regulations.

Education Qualification

• Electrical University degree in Engineering or 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
• Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
• Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
• Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
• Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change work order.
• Assist in the installation of MEP work.
• Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP Subcontractor.
• Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
• Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff.
• Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records.
• Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment

Experience: 5+years

Pay Scale: Salary is not a constraint for deserving candidates.
