Job summary

Team Everest is seeking a dedicated Mentoring Program Coordinator to bridge students with meaningful mentoring opportunities. The role involves visiting colleges, onboarding eager students, and overseeing program design and processes to ensure a high-impact experience for participants.

You will handle student inquiries, support during the mentoring journey, and work with internal teams to continually improve the program while aiming to reduce dropouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or any graduate.
• Fluent Tamil and English in speech and writing.
• Strong problem-solving and solution-finding abilities.
• Good organizational skills with multi-tasking ability.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard students into mentoring programs from start to finish.
• Visit colleges to recruit students and coordinate orientations/interviews.
• Address student questions and provide program clarity.
• Support students through challenges during the mentoring program.
• Monitor program quality and propose improvements.
• Work to reduce dropouts and ensure smooth operation across teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
• Identify gaps in processes and fix them.

What You Will Do?

• Manage student recruitment from start to finish, including orientations, interviews.
  
• Onboard students to the mentoring program, ensuring a smooth transition.
  
• Address students' questions about the mentoring program and provide clarity.
  
• Support students if they face challenges during the mentoring program.
  
• Monitor the quality of the program and find ways to improve it.
  
• Work on reducing student dropouts during the mentoring process.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the program runs seamlessly.
  
• Identify process gaps in program and fix it

Other Information

• Scope: Full-time
  
• Experience: Both freshers and people with experience can apply.
  
• Probationary Period: 3 months
  
• Commitment: We expect you to work with us for at least 2 years. No formal agreements, we work on trust!
  
• Working Days: Monday to Friday + 2 working Saturdays a month. Some weekend support may be required based on program needs.
  
• Office Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  
• Office Address: Work from Chennai. Travel within city if required.
  
• Joining Date: Immediate
