Job summary

Everpure in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a core member of the Forensics team to maximize the reliability and performance of flagship storage platforms at hyperscale by driving deep-dive root-cause analysis across firmware and the storage stack.

You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, hardware, and platform teams to turn critical escalations into systemic engineering improvements that protect global customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems, storage, firmware, or low-level software debugging across OS to hardware.
• Experience building automated triage and analysis tooling.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis across complex stacks.

THE ROLE

As a core member of the Everpure Forensics team, your mission is to maximize the reliability and performance of our flagship storage platforms at hyperscale by driving deep-dive root-cause analysis. You will differentiate this role by looking beyond surface-level symptoms to solve complex technical puzzles where firmware intersects with the broader storage stack. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional engineering, hardware, and platform teams, you will turn critical escalations into systemic engineering improvements that protect our global customers.

What You'll Do

• Lead Root‑Cause Investigations: Own the end‑to‑end debugging of complex failures across the storage stack—from platform software down to device firmware—to ensure rapid, permanent resolution of high‑impact escalations.
• Drive Cross‑Functional Engineering Alignment: Collaborate daily with firmware, hardware, and platform software teams to isolate device‑level or lifecycle bugs and implement robust safety guardrails.
• Build Observability & Automation Tools: Design and refine automated triage systems, log analysis tools, and health monitoring features to accelerate future issue detection and scaling capabilities.
• Ensure Launch & Rollout Reliability: Guide the technical qualification and rollout of new firmware builds and hardware SKUs, safeguarding the Everpure Platform against integration risks.

What You Bring

• Low‑Level Systems Expertise: Strong engineering proficiency in systems, storage, firmware, or low‑level software (such as embedded systems, kernel, or networking) with a passion for multi‑layer debugging (OS to hardware).
• Technical Automation & Tooling: Advanced skills utilizing Linux command‑line environments alongside programming languages like Python, Go, or C/C++ to build automated triage and analysis tooling.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex log evidence, metrics, and test outputs into high‑quality bug reports and cross‑team alignment.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: A proactive approach to scaling engineering quality, utilizing large‑scale test environments and CI/CD pipelines to share system‑level validation best practices.
• Location: We are primarily an in‑office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
