Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a senior medical writer to author and critically review manuscripts, abstracts, and related scientific narratives for AI tool development. You will ensure adherence to ICMJE, CONSORT, and other guidelines while maintaining high editorial quality.

You will interpret complex clinical data, provide structured feedback, and collaborate with project leads to refine evaluation criteria and best practices in scientific publishing workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in medical writing and scientific publication authoring.
• Direct experience lead-authoring or managing peer-reviewed manuscripts published in reputable biomedical or clinical journals.
• Strong working knowledge of publication guidelines including ICMJE, GPP3/GPP2022, and CONSORT.
• Demonstrated capability to interpret complex clinical data and translate them into clear, publication-ready scientific narratives.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with a proven track record of providing actionable, structured feedback on scientific draft materials.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine or equivalent depth of authoring experience.
• Therapeutic area expertise in oncology, immunology, or rare diseases is especially valued.
