Role Description

Daily responsibilities include reviewing audio files and written drafts, applying appropriate medical terminology, formatting reports according to internal standards, and ensuring patient information is recorded with precision and confidentiality. The role involves verifying inconsistencies, clarifying unclear dictations, and collaborating with clinical and billing teams to support accurate documentation for coding and reimbursement. The Medical Transcriptionist is expected to meet productivity and quality targets while maintaining strict adherence to privacy and security regulations.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet turnaround times and quality standards.
• Certificate or diploma in medical transcription or a related field; prior experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in clinical documentation is an advantage.
