Role & responsibilities

• Proofread/edit transcribed dictations from physicians and other healthcare staff of psychiatric facilities on online platform with a minimum accuracy of 98%.
• Editing speech recognition content with a minimum accuracy of 98%.
• Adhere to client specifications and should be aware of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Ensuring turnaround time requirements are met consistently and adaptable to shorter turnaround times for STAT dictations.
• Dictations may consist of various work types, such as History and Physicals, Psychiatric Evaluations, Progress Notes, Social Work Notes, Discharge Summaries, etc.
• Should be able to work with transcription equipment that can include speech recognition equipment, word processing, and computer software.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduation in any discipline.
• CHDS/RHDS certification preferred.
• A minimum of 2-year experience as a PR in this field.
• Must have the ability to hear and transcribe medical reports accurately.
• Good finger dexterity to prepare reports.
