Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a medical coder in India to read patient documentation and translate diagnoses into universal alphanumeric codes. You will transform diagnoses, procedures, and equipment into standardized codes to ensure uniform documentation across facilities.

The role requires multispecialty coding knowledge, CPC certification, and strong English communication for client exchanges. Shifts follow IST timings with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ Year of experience in any Healthcare BPO EM IP Multispecialty / CPC CERTIFIED
• QC Auditor role / Play SME role for freshers
• Good knowledge in EM outpatient coding and multispecialty + Procedure codes
• 1+ year(s) of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications that required you to use a keyboard, navigate screens, and learn new software tools
• Ability to work scheduled shifts from Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST and the shift timings can be changed as per client requirements.
• Flexibility to accommodate overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
• Ability to communicate (oral/written) effectively in English to exchange information with our client
